One Line Puzzle - Connect All Dots in One Stroke Online Free
What Is One Line Connect?
One Line Connect is a minimalist path-finding puzzle: draw a single continuous line that passes through every dot on the grid exactly once, without lifting your finger and without revisiting any dot. It starts almost too easy and quietly becomes a genuine brain-teaser as the grids grow, and it plays free in your browser.
How to Play One Line Connect
- Drag from any dot to begin. Your path starts wherever you choose — there is no fixed starting point.
- Extend to an adjacent dot. Move up, down, left or right from your current dot to keep the line growing.
- Visit every dot exactly once. The line must cover all dots in one unbroken stroke — no lifting, no revisiting.
- Undo and finish. Drag back to the previous dot to rewind your last move; the puzzle is solved when every dot lies on the line.

Game Modes: Normal vs Rank
- Normal Mode — play freely through the grids with no timer and no leaderboard. Solve at your own pace, switch sizes whenever you like; nothing is submitted anywhere.
- Rank Mode — the ranked challenge. Pick a grid size (4×4, 6×6, 8×8 or 10×10), then you get a 10-minute countdown with puzzles drawn at random from that size. Each puzzle you complete counts toward your score; when the clock hits zero you can submit your result.
Scoring Rules
- Rank Mode scoring: every puzzle you complete within the 10-minute limit adds +1 to your score. There is no penalty for backtracking or unfinished puzzles — only completed lines count.
- Leaderboards are per grid size. A 4×4 run competes on the 4×4 board, a 10×10 run on the 10×10 board — the four sizes are separate ranked events with the same 10-minute format.
- Submitting: when time runs out, press Submit Score on the results panel. You need to be logged in; if you are not, a login window appears first and your submission continues automatically after you sign in.
- Personal best: your best solved count for each grid size is saved, and the results panel flags a new record the moment you beat it.
- Normal Mode scoring: none. Normal Mode is pure practice — no score, no timer and nothing is sent to the leaderboard.
Strategy Tips
- Plan the ending before the middle. The last dot you visit must still have a way in, so check that your intended finish is reachable before you lock the rest of the path.
- Watch the corners. A corner dot has only two neighbours, so it is the easiest place to trap yourself — give corners an early thought.
- Backtrack without guilt. One Line Connect is a trial-and-error puzzle; when a path dead-ends, drag back and reroute from an earlier junction instead of forcing a bad line.
